Meet the Cast – Lindsay

1. What was your first Rocky Horror experience?
The first time I saw the movie was at home by myself, and I had no clue what to expect. I didn’t even know it was a musical. I remember thinking “this just keeps getting weirder and gayer… I love it!!!”

2. What made you get involved in MiRPHS?
Shortly after seeing the movie initially, I threw together a Frank costume and dragged a friend along to a MiRHPS show to get the full RHPS experience. The cast looked like they were having so much fun together and I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Also my friend may have peer pressured me a little. 😉

3. Favorite Costume piece(s)?
I’d probably have to say the floorshow feather headdresses for the Mardi Gras theme show! So extravagant and sparkly, how can you not love them?!

4. Besides Rocky, what are some other hobbies you take part in?
I love to draw, paint, and edit videos. I also do a bit of belly dance and fire spinning on occasion.

5. What is/are your top favorite character(s) to play?
I love playing Frank and Columbia! Although I have fun with any role I’m in, and I’d love to make my way to every character eventually!

6. What does your ideal Sunday look like?
Sleeping in, maybe treating myself to an iced coffee, and wandering around antique stores, then relaxing at home for the evening.

7. How do you relax?
Reading, journaling, watching cartoons.

8. What kind of movies do you like?
I’m gonna be real predictable and say cult classics. I’ve recently realized that so many of my favorite movies fall under that category.

9. Top Favorite MiRHPS Theme Show(s)?
It’s so hard to decide! I really loved the roaring 20’s theme we did for our 10th anniversary show, but as far as theme shows in regular rotation, probably Mardi Gras and Easter. So colorful!

10. One thing you couldn’t live without?
Sweatpants. As much as I love dressing up, I’ve gotta have some comfy pants to change into at the end of the day.

11. What’s your favorite Rocky Call Back?
“Holy shit! What a bitch! Quick, Magenta, flip the switch!”

12. Tell us 1 un-interesting fact about yourself.
I don’t have any tattoos 😦
