Meet the Cast- Scootz

1. What was your first Rocky Horror experience?
I first watched the movie in Ann Arbor, MI with some friends during a night in the town. Because it was open to the public it was a decent turnout but it was the WORST way to get introduced (idle conversation here and there that picked up as more people came along, middle of fall (the viewing was outside so it became chilly as night fell), etc.). That same night I bought the dvd via Amazon Prime and watched it in my dorm room and fell in love with the soundtrack.

2. What made you get involved in MiRPHS?
Months after seeing the movie a friend in the friend group suggested we go see a live shadow cast and MiRHPS was the closest cast to see. Afterwards I was urged by another friend to join cast since I loved acting AND Rocky at that time. As they say, “the rest is history”.

3. Favorite Costume piece(s)?
Probably Brad’s short John’s from the 10th anniversary show as well as Magenta/Columbia’s shawls from the same theme show.

4. Besides Rocky, what are some other hobbies you take part in?
Video gaming, crocheting, sewing, and various sports (volleyball, kickball, swimming, and bowling), playing Dungeons and Dragons.

5. What is/are your top favorite character(s) to play?
Columbia, Magenta, Rocky, and Brad (mainly him for Floor Show).

6. What does your ideal Sunday look like?
Either doing one of my hobbies or hanging with friends. Or being lazy at home with my cat.

7. How do you relax?
Definitely via video gaming or crocheting with a good movie (or music) in the background, or obsessing over DnD lore tht I can use for gameplay.

8. What kind of movies do you like?
Movies that are action/adventure with some fantasy elements. Also a good comedy.

9. Top Favorite MiRHPS Theme Show(s)?
Mardi Gras, Pirate Show, Pride Show, and Cast in the Hat.

10. One thing you couldn’t live without?
Music. I can’t play but I have to either be humming to something or have it in the background.

11. What’s your favorite Rocky Call Back?
Frank singing “I’m Going Home”*
Callback: “What’s it like when you jerk off into the ceiling fan?”
Frank: “….like I’m outside in the rain…”

12. Tell us 1 un-interesting fact about yourself.
Bug type Pokémon are one of my top 3 favorite types of Pokémon.
